"My Little Ocean" (2002). My entry for an art contest held by the web-site 3dluvr.com, where I won Second Place.

I had a lot of fun creating and experimenting with this image. Everything you can see here is sub-div modelled, with a lot of help from László Sebõ's outstanding Meshtools maxscripts. Peter Watje's "Scatter" plugin was used for creating the tank's gravel and four of the corals. The main coral rock textures were created using tweaks on SimbiontMax's rust material (damn fine plugin!). The final image was rendered using Brazil 0.2.26b.
