"Kingdom In Twilight", (2004). The saxon horde on the march after sacking the city of Bonne.

I'm incredibly proud of this shot as I think it's kind of indicative of the creative freedom we were given at Uncharted Territory. Basically our matte painter, Ingo, was working on the burning city of Bonne and desperately wanted to add some sort of extra dimension to it - but he didn't know what. So we hatched up the idea to widen the camera angle, add a pan and have the procession of saxon soldiers streaming from the forest, up the hill and right behind the evil twin kings (just off camera).

We completed the entire thing in just a couple of days and it looks absolutely wicked - do check it out on my demoreel if you get the chance.
