"Kingdom In Twilight", (2004). This is an early test of the character generation system I wrote for the Twin Kings Fight sequence. The individual soldiers get generated from a collection of accessories and random textures (randomly colorized too). Each soldiers is then automatically rigged (so they can hold and control their weapon and shield), and randomly animated over time with unique and realistic ambient animations for each individual. It's only a short step from here to having the individual soldiers marching, stopping, charging or peforming any other action on cue. As usual rendered with Brazil - it just loves rendering this type of stuff.
