The net result of all our work was that in only 7 months, the team produced 14 run-hours of completely updated computer based training material and 12 run-hours of interactive assessments. And the new updated training will be suitable for use well into the next millennium.

Following trials in Barclays training centres, the new Barclays Customer System training application went live and was given an enthusiastic "thumbs-up" by the users. They loved the new "look and feel" of the training, and found it easy to use, engaging and fun.

My primary involvement in the Barclays project was as a coder and an alpha tester. The application was created using Macromedia Authorware, and designed to integrate easily with Barclays Banks own student management system.

My secondary involvement was in script rewriting. This was in order to record the many alterations that Barclays Bank have made to the training code since 1995. All the changes had to be reflected in the updated training and new scripts.
