Camelot are the organisation that is responsible for the marketing and administration of the UK's National Lottery. One important part of Camelot's day to day operations is their training division. This divison is responsible for the training and certification of all users of National Lottery ticket terminals nationwide. It's a vital service for retailers as without proper certification, they can't obtain a licence to sell lottery tickets and lottery scratch card games.

Our company was commissioned by Camelot to develop computer based training that would help them them improve the training they provided.

The subject matter in the training covered a bewildering array of different topics. As well as just teaching the basics of operating a lottery terminal, it also had to cover issues such as how to recognize fake tickets, how to deal with prize claims and how each and every lottery game worked. It even had to go so far as covering subjects such as effective selling and promotion techniques so as to help retailers maximise the income they could earn from the National Lottery.
