In addition to this mass of subject matter to be covered, there was also *another* interesting challenge in how to present the training material:-

- Two distinctly different types of lottery terminal are used by retailers, and they look and operate completely differently

- The training had to be usable as both a stand-alone touch screen application and as a classroom-based teaching aid displayed using a LCD overhead projector

We tackled this challenge in a very effective way. We developed seperate training applications for each type of terminal, but with overlapping modules where there was common material involved. Additionally each application was able to operate in either "classroom" or "'individual learning" modes.
